Okefenokee Swamp Park

What Can I Do
In A Swamp?

~Boat Tour:
This is one of the best ways to see the Park. Your boat trip will take you down narrow Seminole Indian Waterways. Your guide will be a wealth of information about the Okefenokee.

~Okefenokee Railroad Tour:
Another great way to see the swamp, aboard the "Lady Suwannee". This guided tour will take you one and a half miles on the edge of the wetlands and stop at Pioneer Island for a look at the recreated homestead and Wildes Cabin Museum.

~"Eye On Nature":
This is a favorite part to everyone's visit!! Here you will get up close and personal with some of the park’s young alligators and native snakes.
