The Okefenokee Swamp is famous throughout the world for its alligators, cypress trees, and colorful history.  It is  recognized by the United Nations as a "Wetland of International Importance" because of the diversity of wildlife it supports.  And it's right in your own backyard! "Eye on Nature" This is an educationl opportunity of a lifetime.  Participants will learn more about the native animals of the Okefenokee Swamp during a 20-25 minute program designed  for all ages.  This is the only Okefenokee Swamp Program available on a year round basis. "Can I See?" During your visit to our Park you will have the opportunity to observe a variety of native wildlife from  several observation areas and platforms.  Bring your camera and get some great candid shots of our  otters, black bear, white tail deer and alligators.  A map of the Park is provided for you so you can get back to nature.
